CVS 8/24-8/30
The best "money making" scenarios for this week would be split into 3 separate transactions, but since that is crazy for most people to visit CVS 3 times this week. I will try to squish it into 2 trips - which won't be quite as profitable, but you'll still end up on top.
Trip #1
Kotex $1.49
2 Carefree (if you have the newspaper coupon, if not, get 2 OB) $9

Coupons - in this order:

$4.50 Carefree - buy one get one free - from paper (OR use below)

Walgreens $5 off $20 coupon
Of course I get all my Walgreens shopping done this week and they throw a $5 off $20 coupon out there. It's good for today and tomorrow. So, if you want to complete the deal previously mentioned for this week, your out of pocket would be $5 less. Or for those that have not been collecting newspaper coupons, this coupon would get you up to speed with the rest of us!

This was going to be a short post, but now I can't stop myself....do the RR deal using the $5 off $20 then go back to use your RR for the free after rebate items.

Walgreens week ending 8/23
In addition to Walgreens having weekly ad coupons, monthly easysaver coupons and monthly rebates, they also have Register Rewards. Register Rewards are just like CVS's ECBs except they expire quicker (about 2 weeks - yikes). And a RR item cannot be used to purchase the same RR item. For instance, if you bought 2 Bertolli pastas and got a $5 RR you cannot buy more Bertolli and expect a RR, however you could purchase 2 Pantene and with your Bertolli RR and you WOULD get a $3 RR. PS if you have not bought Bertolli pasta before - do it - it is awesome, and this is THE cheapest you will find it (taking the RR into account).

2 Skippy Peanut Butter $3.33
4 Ragu $6.67
72 ct Benefiber (clearance) $3.19 (just do it for the overage if you have newspaper Q's))

Meijer week ending 8/23
I feel kind of strange talking about Meijer so much when my REAL passion is CVS, but I having trouble getting my CVS deal together and Meijer is making it too easy!
Meijer is giving you yet another chance at the buy x get y...and now there are even more coupons to use! I think I did every x and y deal they have except Coke (get $10 of athletic shoes when you buy $10 of Coke - I don't need any shoes).

And I COULD NOT find any of my free Kraft coupons in my purse from the All You magazine; I don't know where they disappeared to! If I had that I would have gotten a free item (Crystal Light, Kraft Dressing, Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs or Kraft Singles) ,with the 2 Kraft cheese and 1 Oscar Meyer meat.
Feel free to ask me any questions about these deals, it can be a head spinner...and that's why I write it all out for myself!
