Kroger - free card games

There aren't a whole lot of great deals at Kroger this week, but, in Sunday's USA Weekend magazine (I don't know why I chose to look through it) there was a coupon for buy one get one free Hasbro Card games (Scrabble Slam, Monopoly Deal & more). It was on page 3. Well, this week, Kroger has some of those games buy one get on free. So, pick up 2 of them this week and get them both for free!

There are so many freebies at Wags this whole month that also have coupons in the paper that I decided to visit Coupon Clippers and order some extras, I just can't pass up all that overage - and buying extra papers would just overwhelm me! I also bought some some coupons for things I might *need* and coupons for items that will be on sale at CVS/Wags in the coming weeks. My list included:

**Band-Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages $.50 expires 11/30/09, cost $.08 (free after coupon at Wags soon, and there are always great Band-Aid deals out there)
**Beneful Brand Dog Food 15.5 lb bag or larger, $3.00, expires 10/31/09, cost $.20 (this such a high value coupon - and it's what my dog eats)
**Crest PREMIUM Toothpaste, $1.00, expires 10/31/09, cost $.12 (this is free at Wags either next week or all month, I haven't figured it out yet)
**Gillette Fusion razor, $4.00, expires 10/31/09, cost $.40 (free after coupon all month at Wags)
**Halls on any single bag, 20 count or larger, $0.35, expires 11/07/09, cost $.08 (I think there is a $.75 coupon out there, but CC didn't have it)
**Mr. Clean Magic Eraser buy ONE get ONE FREE, of equal or lesser value, $2.49, expires 10/31/09, cost $.25 (what a great coupon! I'm sure there's a sale out there soon!)
**Playtex Disposible Gloves, $1.00, expires 10/30/09, cost $.10 (free after coupon at Wags in the next few weeks)
**Reach Toothbrush buy one, get one free, up to to $3.99, expires 12/31/09, cost $.30 (Wags has had SO many sales on these lately and I'm always sad when I can't take advantage because I've already used my one coupon)
**Tylenol 8 hr product on any, 24 ct or larger, $2.00, expires 12/31/09, cost $.20 (another item that has lots of sales and I already used my one!)

Total value of coupons: $18.33 (if I had bought one of each, but I got multiples of most)
Total cost: $1.73
Total overage expected on free items: $3.85 (counting each coupon once, but I bought multiples so my overage will be much higher, also I don't know what deals I may get on Mr.Clean, Reach & Tylenol!)

Wags 4/26 - 5/2 with updates

Wags is going to have another great week starting Sunday the 26th! The EasySaver Program will officially come to an end, but they are making up for it with great Register Rewards!

**Ecotrin $2, with $2 RR. Use $1 coupon from the paper or print a $2.25 coupon. The IP will more than likely beep because it's more than the value of the product. Hopefully they will adjust it down to $2, for $2 overage!
**got2be Hair products are 2 for $10 with $5 RR. Print 2 $2 off coupons and get then for $.50 each. (Clearance ones work too!)
**Nivea Body Wash for Women is $4.99, with $4.99 RR. Print as many $1 off coupons as you want for $1 overage every time.
**Bayer Quick Release $2.49, with $2.49 RR = free (I don't think they have this in stock yet, it will be free through the end of May though, so keep checking the aisles!)
**Rembrandt Toothpaste or mouthwash $5.99, with $5.99 RR = free
**Bayer Breeze 2 or Contour Meter...who really needs this right? Does someone in your family? A friend? Regardless, it is $14.99 with a $5 RR. Use the $30 off coupon from the paper which will be adjusted to $14.99, and walk out with $5 overage!!! Just do it...this deal also goes on through the end of May, so if you don't get the courage this week, you have time.
**Samy Esensia Shampoo is $7.99 at Wags. I saw a bunch of them last night (big brown bottle) with 'try me free' tags on them. Print a $1 coupon and make $1 overage (less the cost of a stamp)

Because the Meter deal is going on all of May and holy crap it's $5 profit every time, I purchased 10 more coupons off The Coupon Clippers (search: bayer). There are still a ton left if you want to join in!

You want more coupons, but not whole papers...

Hey! Me too! There were some great coupons in the paper this weekend. Whether you don't currently subscribe to the newspaper, or whether you want more of one coupon in particular, you have lots of options. Read the bottom of this post to see some reputable websites to order additional coupons.

I have one subscription for the Sunday paper, but places like Walgreens and Wal-Mart sell Sunday papers for $.99 (which is actually a little cheaper than having it thrown on my doorstep). Usually that one paper is plenty for our small family's needs, but when coupons come out that I know I'll use and want more of - or that I know I'll make a profit on, I'll order more.

For instance, today's paper has a coupon for $1 off any Quaker Rice Snack Product. Just last week those yummy yummy Quakes were on sale at Meijer 10 for $10. So I COULD have gotten it for free. I went on The Coupon Master website and ordered more! Others coupons I purchased:
**$2 off Gillette Shampoo ("free" at CVS in a few weeks AND also if KMart does Super Doubles again)
**$1 off Kibbles Wholesome Medley (George's usual food)
**$1 off 2 Nutri-Grain (this is from last weeks paper - Jacob eats these every morning for his pre-breakfast)
**$.50 off French mustard (often $1 at Kroger, which would be free when doubled)
**$.35 off Egglands Best (doubled at Kroger this is often cheaper than store brand - I needed to make a $3 purchase so this was my filler)

I also looked for the .50 off Cottonelle, but it seems they are out - Kroger has Cottonelle 4 packs for .99 everyday, so they would be free. Other good fillers are the $2.50 Electrosol coupons from a few weeks ago and $2 Excedrin (I should have added it because they're $1.99 at CVS this week, but I forgot). Good luck!

CVS Black Friday...well Thursday

Last year on Thanksgiving morning I woke up before the sun and ran outside to get my Thanksgiving Day paper. I tore through it to get to the CVS ad and began sorting my coupons. I would've made A LOT of money last year (through ECBs) but I took Jeremy with me and he got a few (expensive) things like an MP3 player and some Christmas gifts and we ended up breaking even i.e. it was all free instead of making a profit. Personally, I want the ad in my hands so I can look at every page. However, if you want to start gathering your coupons, here it is! Pages 8-10 are particularly exciting because they are absolutely free after ECB, which means any coupons you use are purely profit. IHeartCVS has all the deals with the matching coupons from the paper and internet printables listed...I am not going to reinvent the wheel here...

I am a freak though and I actually bought MORE CVS coupons off EBay. Yikes, hopefully they'll get here in time!

Also, if you have not kept up with your coupons and would like someone to mail you exactly what you want, here are some great websites: The Coupon Clippers, Coupons & Things by Dede or The Coupon Master. I have to admit I haven't bought coupons from these websites because I usually get what I need from the newspaper every week, but from what I've heard the coupons are about 10% of the coupon value ($.10 for a $1 coupon) and they ship super fast...so you could get what you want by BF! You may also buy manufacturer coupons on EBAY, I DID do that once for a deal at Walgreens (the coupons were REALLY popular so the three sites I listed above were already out).
