There are lots of options, but if you buy 4 Quaker Oats @ $3.19 each, use 2 - $1.25 off 2 Quaker coupon from the paper, use BOGO Wags in-ad coupon (will take off $6.38 for 2 free ones) = $1.12 overage after RR. **Glad Trash Bags 25-80ct. $5.99 with $1RR, print this $1 coupon here = $3.99! (sorry, you’re probably not going to get free trash bags, so this is a great price!

Rite Aid through 10/23

Okay, I'm trying Rite Aid again. Taking on three drug stores is pretty overwhelming, but really, CVS has been stinking it up on the sale end and I haven't been in weeks. So perhaps Rite Aid will be my new replacement. The only down side is there is no instant gratification (no Register Rewards or ECBs). All their super deals come in the form of rebate checks (SCR - single check rebate), so this month I am going to be spending quite a bit of money before I see the profit (you may only submit for your check once, so I'm waiting until the end of the month). Is anybody with me? Here are the deals this week:

**Blink Tears Lubricant Eye Drops $7.99 with $7.99 SCR, use $4 coupon from paper or $1.50 coupon here = $1.50 - $4 overage
**Little Allergies Allergen Block $9.99 with $9.99 SCR, use $3 coupon = $3 overage
**Zucol Cold Care Lozenges $5.99 with $5.99 SCR, use $2 coupon from paper = $2 overage
**NeilMed SinuFlow Rinse or Nasogel $5.99 with $5.99 SCR, print a $2 off coupon here = $2 overage
**NeilMed Nasal Mist Saline Spray $9.99 with $9.99, print $2 coupon here = $2 overage
**Children’s Cold Calm Pellets or Cough Syrup $7.99 with $7.99 SCR, print $1 coupon here = $1 overage
**EOS Lip Balm $1.99 with $1.99 SCR = free (I got one of these as a free sample once and they are pretty cool – they are round balls of lip stuff)
**Little Colds Cold Formula $3.99 with $3.99 SCR = free
**Little Colds Mucus Relief or Sore Throat Melt $5.49 with $5.49 SCR = free
**Kids Chloraseptic Throat Spray or Relief Strips $4.49 with $4.49 SCR = free
**Sambucol $7.99 with $7.99 SCR = free (however, look inside for a $3 coupon)
**Cepacol Fizzlers $4.99 with $4.99 SCR = free
**Hershey’s Extra or Special Dark Candy Bar $.99, use $1 coupon from paper = free

If you take advantage of all these rebates you would spend about $62.88 out of pocket (+ tax) and would receive $76.88 back for a profit of $14! For less out of pocket and even MORE profit split your trips up and use the $5 off $25 coupon a few times.

What to do with some Expiring Coupons...

In the last week of the month I always go through my coupon binder and pull out all the expiring coupons. I pick out a few that I want to buy that week (like free items I forgot about) but most of them I just toss out (and it’s always such a relief when I can actually fit my binder in my purse!)

There are a lot of items in the travel section of Target and Wal-Mart that you may use coupons on. As long as it doesn’t exclude ‘travel size’ or require a certain size, you can buy whatever. I like to wait until the end of the month, because I hate wasting that $1 coupon on a 1 oz item rather than buying the full-size and possibly miss out getting it for free. You may think you don’t *need* any travel size items, but think about Christmas or Care baskets you could make, baskets for guests you might keep in a spare bedroom, or maybe you just want to keep a small deodorant in your glove box. Either way, posted below are some super cheap travel size items you can get with those expiring coupons…

Does anyone have experience with Rite Aid? I feel like I’ve got my hands full running back and forth between Walgreens and CVS and then actually getting to the grocery too…but it seems that Rite Aid has a super promotion going on through Saturday. There is one just around the corner from my work, I’m thinking of leaving my bubble and checking it out…

**Palmolive Pure & Clear (is was in a Sunday insert) free after rebate up to $2.99, there was a $.75 coupon attached to it. This is the second one they’ve put out – I think it ends on 10/17?

**Seattle’s Best Coffee 12 oz bag, free after rebate, print this form.

**Kraft Rebate – buy 20 participating products get a $20 rebate, so $1 back on each item -plus the rebate form comes with $55 in coupons, click here to request it

**CareGivers Marketplace – rebates vary, but the one I use most often is for $.75 on each Huggies Jumbo pack. Some other products included are Nature Made, Cottonelle, Gold Bond & Balmex. Purchase 5 or more items before mailing it in – do it as many times as you want! Click here for details.

There are some super deals at Target this week. I have a $25 gift card burning a hole in my pocket, so I'm going to see how much I can do with it (or not do with it!)

As the coupons come and go on the Target website, some sites (linked in scenarios below) save these coupons in a much easier printable format until the coupons actually expire. Redbox Free Rentals!

Use code "QNGJ7KD" through midnight tonight to get a free rental!

I found a website called Inside Redbox that lists a whole bunch of codes! I assume they change daily, so if you are in the mood for a movie I would check them out! Other working codes they list are: "breakroom," "9H2VEE27," "DVDATWAGS" (use at Walgreens locations only) & "DVDONME."

How awesome is that?!

I have a lot to post this week, so keep checking back!

Coupons!

Coupons.com and Restaurant.com have both restocked the their coupons today!
_____________________________
There are so many freebies at Wags this whole month that also have coupons in the paper that I decided to visit Coupon Clippers and order some extras, I just can't pass up all that overage - and buying extra papers would just overwhelm me! I also bought some some coupons for things I might *need* and coupons for items that will be on sale at CVS/Wags in the coming weeks. My list included:

**Band-Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages $.50 expires 11/30/09, cost $.08 (free after coupon at Wags soon, and there are always great Band-Aid deals out there)
**Beneful Brand Dog Food 15.5 lb bag or larger, $3.00, expires 10/31/09, cost $.20 (this such a high value coupon - and it's what my dog eats)
**Crest PREMIUM Toothpaste, $1.00, expires 10/31/09, cost $.12 (this is free at Wags either next week or all month, I haven't figured it out yet)
**Gillette Fusion razor, $4.00, expires 10/31/09, cost $.40 (free after coupon all month at Wags)
**Halls on any single bag, 20 count or larger, $0.35, expires 11/07/09, cost $.08 (I think there is a $.75 coupon out there, but CC didn't have it)
**Mr. Clean Magic Eraser buy ONE get ONE FREE, of equal or lesser value, $2.49, expires 10/31/09, cost $.25 (what a great coupon! I'm sure there's a sale out there soon!)
**Playtex Disposible Gloves, $1.00, expires 10/30/09, cost $.10 (free after coupon at Wags in the next few weeks)
**Reach Toothbrush buy one, get one free, up to to $3.99, expires 12/31/09, cost $.30 (Wags has had SO many sales on these lately and I'm always sad when I can't take advantage because I've already used my one coupon)
**Tylenol 8 hr product on any, 24 ct or larger, $2.00, expires 12/31/09, cost $.20 (another item that has lots of sales and I already used my one!)

Total value of coupons: $18.33 (if I had bought one of each, but I got multiples of most)
Total cost: $1.73
Total overage expected on free items: $3.85 (counting each coupon once, but I bought multiples so my overage will be much higher, also I don't know what deals I may get on Mr.Clean, Reach & Tylenol!)

There is a new coupon available for the free Dentek at Wags this week. Print this $1 off Floss Picks for $1 overage. (Don't forget there's also a $1 coupon inside the Floss Picks package!)
