Free Tomato Seeds

Campbell's is giving away Tomato Seeds. Click here to get your seeds (click "get yours now" on right side of screen) and also to donate seeds to FFA chapters across America. I have a brown thumb, so when the plants are free to begin with, I don't feel SO bad when they die. Use codes off of your Campbell's cans to get the seeds, or use the ones below:
Code 1- CX
Code 2- 15
Variety- vegetarian vegetable

While we're talking about plants, did anyone else fall for the Gurneys ad within the coupon inserts a few months ago? The deals in the ad were better than what I could order directly from the website even with coupon codes (weird)! (I ended up paying less than $20 for the one blueberry & 1 set of 3 raspberries) Well, I mailed in my order for a Blueberry Patio Plant and Raspberries and they came while I was gone over the weekend. Now I have to find a place to plant them before they die a terrible death in the shipping box. HOPEFULLY I won't have to use their no-risk gaurantee!

CVS & Wags through 4/4

The previous post has been updated to include additional deals. p.s. I had a great trip. I'll probably post pics soon.

Leaving on a Jet Plane

I'm going to visit my sister in the Grand Canyon this weekend, so I probably won't post again until (at least) Tuesday. Below are the upcoming drug store deals:

CVS:
**Paas Easter Egg Coloring Kit $1.99 get $1.99 ECB limit 2, Sunday & Monday only, free
**Scrub Bubb Action Scrubber $2.99, use this $2.75 off coupon toe make it $.24. If you haven't bought one of these yet, do it next week. It is an AWESOME product.
**Lysol products, they are on sale for $2.50. Use coupons from the newspaper a few weeks ago and use this MIR for $3 off 3 (different) products.
WAGS:
It's a new "month" at Wags so that means new FAR items. When Wags updates their site, the EasySaver catalog will be found here.
**Chapstick 100% Naturals or True Shimmer Lip Balm or Butter $1.99 get $1.99 RR = free - this is a month-long deal
**black or color printer ink cartridge refill $7.50 (sale price this week) get $7.50 EasySaver Rebate #28 = free
**Reynolds Wrap Aluminum Foil (20 sq feet) $.89 w/ in-ad coupon, use $1 Reynolds (excludes 25sq ft) from the 2/8 paper = $.11 profit

**Buy Softsoap body wash for 3.99, get RR for free Softsoap body wash on next purchase. Use $1 coupon from the March All You mag or IP - $1 off Softsoap. This coupon was rolling (get a free one with free coupon, get a free one get another coupon), but now it will just print the coupon once - the 2nd time it knows you used the coupon - so this is more like a BOGO deal...
**Edge or Skintimate shave Gel 7 oz. $2.49 (ish) with a $3 RR. So you'll have a $.51 profit without coupons. This is a month-long deal, so have fun! (shelf price will vary) ::update:: The RR is no longer printing for the $2.49 Skintimate, it prints on the new-looking bottle which is on sale for $2.99 this month...so after the $3 RR it is free. I'm not sure about Edge yet, but it's probably the same issue.
**Mentos Gum 2 for $2, use 2 $1 coupons = free (you must buy 2, there were $.55 coupons out there too)
+++Check out the CVS or Wags "how to" if there are any words, terms or conditions that need clarification!

Previous Post updates

A few days ago I got my $1 Bakeware! As previously mentioned, I love spoonulas. However, it seems they are out of spoonulas and they sent me spatulas. Same idea, and they were only $1...so I'll take it. The offer is still available...and it seems like they added new items, like salad hands ...kind of creepy if you ask me.

_______________________________________
You still have a few days to get to Zappos! Jeremy always finds something & I go home empty handed...well, that was not the case last night. My mom and I drove down to check out the 50% off sale one last time (p.s. boots are 70% off now through the 31st also). I spent WAY more money than I normally would, but I made some great purchases and saved a ton.

From left to right:

Sorel winter boots for Jake, reg price: $69, my price $10.80. Hopefully they'll fit next year, I went two sizes higher...but I think I'm okay even if they don't fit.

Keen sandals, reg price $94.95, my price $24

Salomon hikers, reg price $114.95, my price $29

Ahnu janes, reg price $89, my price $22.50

Sorel boots for Jeremy, reg price $149.95, my price $22.50. And I figure if Jeremy doesn't like them I can sell them on EBay and get my money back! (holy cow)

Not pictured: Timex watch for Jeremy, reg price $60, my price $15.

Total Spent: $133.23

Total Saved: $454.05 = total savings of 70%

The three shoes I picked out were wonderful. They fit great and are SO comfortable. I guess that's what you get when you buy expensive shoes!

CVS through 3/28 & excuses, excuses

I am seriously off my game this week after a 3-day Jeep weekend and leaving for the Grand Canyon to see my sister this Thursday...I'm not even sure I'll make it to CVS this week...but that doesn't mean you can't! I haven't even clipped my coupons from Sunday's paper ::gasp:: BUT, I do have to make it back to Wags to finish up the Hunt's deal I started! I don't think I'll make it to a Kroger this week either, but heck knows I really don't need anything, I just feel like I'm going to miss something because I didn't go...I've really got issues... ANYWAYS, here are the CVS deal this week:

*Crest Pro-Health $3.49, with $3.49 ECB, $.50 - $1 coupons in previous papers will give you a profit!
*CVS Vitamin D 400, 100 ct $2.99, with $2.99 ECB = free (monthly deal)
*Post Trail Mix $4.79, BOGO, print 2 - $2 off coupons and get 2 for $.79!

I found some more deals at Wags this week , so check the post again for the updates!

Free Women's Day

LINKS UPDATED - IT SHOULD WORK NOW
There are lots of free magazines subscriptions out there. For this offer , you don't have to enter your credit card info or anything. They only glitch is that you're probably going to get a bunch of junk e-mail. SO, put in an e-mail address that you don't mind getting a bunch of junk in...or create a new account at hotmail or yahoo, just for these occasions.

Click here to sign up. I have to admit, Women's Day isn't my first choice of magazines, but when they have covers with fancy cookies like this, I am intrigued.

Wags through 3/27

This is the last week for the monthly deals so go ahead and make your purchases!

**Hunt's Tomato Sauce is $.39 after the in-ad coupon. In the EasySaver Catalog there is a rebate for $5 when you purchase $10 worth of Con-Agra products. For this rebate you may either get 13 cans for $.17 or make a profit of $1.21 on 11 cans. Please see below for math...+++
**Crest Pro Health Night is still on clearance for $1.09. Use any of the coupons $.50 - $1 and ALSO get a $1 Register Reward for up to $.91 profit.
**Bic Soliel 4 pk razor cartridges are on clearance for $3.59. Use the $2 newspaper coupon and $2 EasySaver Coupon for $.41 profit
**Since you're at Wags, pass on through the freezer department and see if there is any clearance available, you might find something good!
**Good deal but not free - Tuf Trash bags are 2 for $7 with a $3 rebate (on 2) after the 10% GC bonus, they are $1.85 per box...trash bags are one of those things that are difficult to get for free. **Pledge is $2 for 7. Print 2 - $2 off Pledge coupons or here is another $2 coupon off Pledge Sweeper which I HIGHLY recommend for those that have pets. Anyways, you may submit up to six cleaning products for EasySaver rebate#23 for $1 (+ 10% GC bonus) back. SO, with the 2 $2 coupons you'll pay $.40 per item after the rebate, but mix and match however you like!
**If you like Diet Pepsi here is a good deal: It is on sale 3 for $10.92. Use the in-ad coupon to get a 4th pack of Diet Pepsi free. Use this coupon to get 1 flavored Diet pepsi free. So buy 4 Diet Pepsi (at least one flavored) and get 4 for the price of 2, about $7.28. Clear as mud?
___________________________________________
+++Rebates are counted BEFORE coupons, so the $10 requirement would be based on the product original price which is 5 for $4 or $.99 if you do not buy in sets of 5.

10 cans at 5/$4 = $8

Yum

More free Roastburgers. Mmmmm...good until Friday!

Tuesday, March 17, 2009

Wags through 3/21

**Dove products are 25% off this week. When you buy 8 products you get $10 Register Rewards. Some "free" items after RRs would be single Dove bars $1.04 -$1.26 after 25% (regular prices are often different per store) and Dove Deodorant $2.10 after 25%; there are $1.50 off 2, $1 and $1.50 coupons out there for the deodorant. However, if you need lotion, shampoo, etc. there are $1.50 coupons for those too and you could "pay" for those.
**Reach & Listerine are 3 for $9, if you buy 3 you get $6 Register Rewards. In Sundays paper there were coupons for $3 off when you buy one floss, one toothbrush & one Listerine.

The difficult thing about these two deals is Wags has to have it all in stock or you have to walk away....8 Dove products, the correct toothbrush and floss, etc. I struck out at my first Wags when they only had 3 soap bars and I didn't have enough deodorant coupons to make it all "free." AND they didn't have the Reach floss....2nd store I thought that the .99 trial size deodorant would work with the buy 8 deal...I was wrong and I'm taking it back tomorrow...

update 3/18/09:
**I heard that Bic Soliel 4 pk razor cartridges are on clearance for $3.59. Use the $2 newspaper coupon and $2 EasySaver Coupon for $.41 profit
**Also, Crest Pro Health Night Toothpaste 4.2 oz is on clearance for $1.09. Use the $.50-$1 newspaper coupons and receive a $1 RR (part of a March promotion) for up to $.91 profit.
--I'll be checking out Wags during my lunch break - I'll tell you how it goes! - CONFIRMED!!!

Zappos Outlet

Zappos is a super website with all the super expensive shoes you've ever dreamed of. Us Louisvillians are privileged to have the Zappos Outlet just south of us in Shepherdsville. They still have super expensive shoes, but you'll probably pay about 20% of the price. Jeremy and I took the drive Sunday afternoon after receiving at e-mail about a 50% off sale (off the already super discounted) through the end of March.

Jeremy got some Keens there are a few weeks ago and we drove back down to get some hiking boots. We ended up with NorthFace boots regularly $100 + for $25. Jacob also got some cute sandals. As for me, I have huge size 11 feet, and while the sizes go to 12 (and there is plenty of selection) I just couldn't be satisfied. Shipments come in twice a week so I'll be sure to go back before the end of the month. The Zappos Outlet has shoes that are sent back from website orders and shoes that the couldn't sell on the website (only a few sizes or colors left so not worth keeping them on the website, etc.).

Anyway, you should really visit the store in Shepherdsville for 50% off already super reduced prices. Their number is 502-921-4901 for directions.

CVS through 3/21

Sunday-Tuesday only:
**Irish Spring Body Wash $4.99, with $4.99 ECB. Use $.50 coupon from yesterday's paper for .50 profit...Isn't that festive.

The rest of the week:
**Dry Idea $2.99, with $2 ECB. Print $2 off Dry Idea Roll-On for $1.01 profit
**Colgate MaxWhite Toothpaste $2.99, with $2.99 ECB. Use $.75 coupon from paper a few weeks ago for $.75 profit.

The rest of the month:
The monthly deals are pretty weak for March:
**CVS Vitamin D 400, 100 ct $2.99, with $2.99 ECB = free

I'll update if I see anything more exciting!

Mmmm Arby's & Dr.P

A few weeks ago in the Wed/Thur junk mail there were some AWESOME Arby's coupons which included a free roastburger and a free chicken burger. I couldn't resist and bought the Roastburger the next day and it was awesome!

Here is a printable coupon for another free roastburger with the purchase of a drink. Good today and tomorrow.

Here is a printable coupon for a free 20 oz or 2 liter Diet Dr Pepper. Mmmm almost as good as the original

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

CVS through 3/14

Crest Pro-Health 4.2 oz or rinse 250 ml $2.99, get $2 ECB. Use $1 coupon from the 2/8 paper and it's free.

Not free, but good deals:
**General Mills 3 for $10, get $5 ECB. There were $1 off 3 coupons in the 2/8 paper, but there are a lot more out there. Here is $.75 off Cheerios. With the $1 newspaper coupon only - you would be paying just $1.33 per box!
**Coke is 4 for $13 with $3 ECB. That's cheaper than Big K guys! Speaking of K...roger I got a mailer a few weeks ago with a coupon in it for $2 off 3 Coca-Cola products. These are manufacturer coupons (says so at the top!) so I will use it when purchasing this week. There is often a little Kroger symbol at the bottom, I usually cut that off so the CVS people don't freak out...it's a manufacturer coupon with or without the little symbol.

still looking...I'll post more..

Wags through 3/14

I've really been on a Wags kick lately. They've had some great sales and I don't have to go there on Sunday morning at 8am to get the deals (ahem, CVS).

Besides the diaper deal this week, there are quite a few free items including:
**Garnier Shampoo/Conditioner/stylers $2.99, use the $2 coupon in the EasySaver Catalog and $1 coupons from the 1/4 or 3/8 paper to make it free
**Coffeemate Creamer is BOGO at $2.49, print two $1.50 off coupons for $.50 profit.
**Glade Lasting Impressions or Sense & Spray is $7.99, use the $4 coupon in the EasySaver Catalog and this BOGO Sense & Spray coupon and this BOGO Impressions and get four for free. update 3/10/09: I had a super smart cashier last night that knew I used a $4 Wags coupon for each of the Glade and only gave me $3.99 free instead of the full $7.99. He would have been totally correct in giving me $3.99 or $7.99. So, they ended up being $2 each. Oh well, you win some you lose some.

There are no register rewards or rebates in the above items, so you'll want to add a few things to your cart so you don't go negative. With 1 shampoo, 2 creamers, and 2 Glade you'll be at negative $.53 at the register! So buy some Huggies or a rebate item

Diaper deal @ Wags through 3/14

update 3/10/09: It seems that the $5 and $3 coupons work on most anything Huggies. I went ahead and tried 2 Natural Fit size 5 and a random Huggies wipes (because I couldn't find Gentle Care) and it still took $13 off my order. Woohoo!

Last week I gave you a heads up to print $5 and $3 Huggies coupons. Well, coupons.com did run out of those coupons, but they reset them with additional language. Last week's $5 coupon said any gentle care product, which is diapers (size 1 & 2) and wipes. Then the $3 coupon was for any Huggies. When the $5 coupon reset, it specifies gentle care diapers, so this wouldn't work for those of us with bigger kids. Since the coupons reset, you may go back and print 2 more of each.

Size 1 & 2 diapers scenario:
2 Gentle Care Diapers $20
1 Gentle Care Wipes $6

Coupons:
3 - $5 off Gentle Care

Out of Pocket: $11
Register Rewards Recieved: $10
Caregiver's Rebate: $1.50
Total Profit: $.75
_________________________________
Sizes 3 & up:
2 Huggies Diapers $20
1 Gentle Care Wipes $6

Coupons:
2 - $3 off Huggies
1 - $5 off Gentle Care

Out of Pocket: $15
Register Rewards Recieved: $10
Caregiver's Rebate: $1.50
Total Cost: $3.50

Caregiver's Marketplace gives you $.75 back on every pack of Huggies you buy (among other things). After you make 5 qualifying purchases you may send in the rebate.

Bakeware for $1

Okay, it's not free, but holy cow, one of those floppy muffin pans for $1 shipped, I'd say that's pretty good deal! I found it while blog hopping at Finer Things.

Go to easybakeware.com and click on one of the 18 FREE items offered this month. I don't really need anything but I do love spoonulas! In the check out you will choose $1 shipping, and on this same page you will see the phone # you will need in which to cancel the 7-day free trial you are agreeing to which leads to a $14.97 monthly fee. But don't be scared by this mumbo-jumbo, just call and cancel.

In case you miss it, the number is 1-800-544-1528, I called the number within 5 minutes of placing my order. The call was completely automated, it asked for my phone # and then I hit the appropriate numbers to cancel my "subscription."

I love spoonulas!

Huggies Deal Next week

At the beginning of each month coupons.com reloads their coupon base. This month they've added $5 & $3 off Huggies coupons. Because they are such high value, I would suggest that you print them now (print each twice), who knows when they'll disappear!

I'll tell you more about the Wags sale next week, but for size 2 and under you may get 2 jumbo diapers & wipes for $1 after RRs. For bigger boys & girls you be able to get 2 diapers & 1 wipes for $5 after RRs.

Print now, seriously...

p.s. in these two transactions I got all the great deals from this week except for Dove ($2.08 profit) and free crackers...I was afraid I wouldn't find 8 Dove bars and I already used my $2 off 2 cracker coupon....

CVS through 3/7

I went to CVS at noon on Monday and they were out of all the Free after ECBs items I wanted...boo all you CVSers that have more than one card and exceed limits...

FYI if you are so lucky to find these items:
--Carnation Instant Breakfast $4.99, with $4.99 ECB - there was a $.75 coupon in the March All You Magazine = $.75 profit
--Act Trial Size $.99 with $.99 ECB = free
--Gillette Fusion Gamer $7.99 with $4 ECB, use the $4 newspaper Q to make it free (has this deal been going on for a month, or what?!)
--SlimQuick Energy Shot $4.99 with $4.99 ECB = free
--Hershey bars 2 for a $1. Use the $1 off 2 Reese's Whipps to get two for free

Maybe they'll get another truck in and I try at the end of the week. Hohum.

Wags through 3/7

Lots of super deals! (p.s. sorry i'm wordy to today)
--Vaseline lotions are 25% off this week and produce a $2 RR. Many items are $3.49 or less which would make them $2.61 or less...there have been coupons in the paper for Vaseline lotions ranging from $.55 to $1.50 off. When you use the $1.50 coupon, you'll pay $1.11 out of pocket and get a $2 RR back = $.89 profit. Additionally, here is a $1 off coupon
--Blink Tears Eye Drops are $7.99 with a $7.99 RR. Supposedly there were $2 coupons in the paper this Sunday, but I couldn't find them. Otherwise, you can click here and print out a $1.50 coupon, for a $1.50 profit.
--Colgate MaxFresh (not total) is $3.29 with $3.50 RR. Use the .75 coupon from the paper or print a $1 coupon here, for $1.21 profit. Since the RR you're getting is actually higher than the cost you're making a profit if you walk in and forget all your coupons at home...
--in March when you buy 6 Dove items you get $6 RRs, when you buy 8 Dove items you get $10 RRs. On page 9 of the weekly ad there is a coupon for $.99 Dove bars. SO, buy 8, get $10 back for $2.08 profit. The only catch would be finding 8 bars in one store!
--Nabisco 4-6 oz cookies & crackers (yeah, that's really small) are BOGO at $1.99. Use the $2 off 2 Nabisco coupon from the paper and get them both for free.

Use Sambucol profit to make your out of pocket lower!

Also, use your Excedrin Register Rewards from last week to buy RR items for this week! Just remember, you must have as many items as coupons. You may do the above RR deals as many times as you want, but you cannot use the RR to buy the same product. For instance you may pay for the Blink with the Colgate & Vaseline RRs but not with the a Blink RR. Clear as mud? Check out Wags How To and perhaps it will help!

Walgreens Monthly Deals

The EasySaver Catalog will be discontinued after April, so love it and squeeze it and tell it you care - the deal possibilities may really stink starting in May. Perhaps they will beef up their Register Rewards program, who knows. But for now, here are the super deals.

Free after rebate:
--Axe Shampoo, Conditioner or Stylers up to $6.99 - up to $.69 profit with 10% GC bonus
--Wags Memory Formula $19.99 - up to $1.99 profit with 10% GC bonus
--Wags Extra Strength Quick Gels $2.99 - up to $.29 profit with 10% GC bonus

EasySaver Coupons:
--Sambucol Cold Relief is $11.99, use the $10 off EasySaver Coupon on page 26 (or page 14 online) and this $4 off coupon and make a $2.01 profit each time. This is profit at the register - so you must get an additional $2.01 in products so you will not go negative. I gave them the manufacturer coupon first, then the EasySaver coupon and it went great!

Monthly Register Rewards
--Dove products are buy 6 get $6RR, buy 8 get $8RR. For the first week of March Dove Soap Bars are .99 which would give a $2.01 profit when you buy 8. However, I have heard that the trial size deodorants & soaps work also, I'll let you know how it goes when I get a chance...and when I find 8 of them in one store...
