Consumer Product Safety Commission Changes their Rules

Yesterday the CPSC released a statement that reselling children's items will be allowed unless the seller knowingly sells something containing a ridiculous amount of lead (and who would do that). Check out the CPSC website here.

Small manufacturers of toys and clothing and any of your friends on Etsy selling items will still be subject to the CPSIA. It will be hard to change the wording to protect these small businesses and stay at home moms, but it still should be done. I am in no way discounting the affects and severity of lead in childrens clothing, but limiting free enterprise is serious too!
