CPSI Act - Jacob is going naked

We buy Jacob's ENTIRE wardrobe at the church/local consignment sales that are held twice a year. We can not afford, nor is it necessary to buy "new" clothes for him when he grows out of them so fast. The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act begins Feb 10 and will make the sale of products for children 12 and under illegal at consignment sales, yard sales, and even Goodwill unless you pay for testing of lead and phthalates.

And don't forget about your friends that make and sell clothes, accessories, blankets, toys, etc to make money from home. They are also subject to this new testing! It is incredible that more stink has not been made of this!

Here are some articles to show that I am not some crazy lady:

Save Handmade

It seems the only thing we can do now is let others know about what's going on. This act will be incredibly difficult to enforce so hopefully it won't be as big a deal! Or maybe Congress will realize that it is WAY to widespread...and before March...I love the Highland Pres Sale!
