CVS through 5/2

I will be spending my week at Wags, but there are a few deals I stopped by CVS to get...

**Zooth toothbrush (Jacob uses the race car ones) $1.99 (might be marked as $3.29, but they are part of the Crest sale), buy 2 get 2 ECB. Use the BOGO Zooth coupon from the paper and get 2 free.
**Buy $15 in 3M products, get $5 ECB, if you bought 6 metal hooks at $2.50 and use this $2.50 coupon, pay tax and make about $5 profit. However if you are worried about finding SIX hooks, or just don't WANT 6 hooks, they are free every time with the coupon, so don't fret if you don't 'complete' the deal.

There is also a lot of clearance at CVS. Look for the yellow tags and check your coupons. Lots of deodorants 75% off...I got 180 baby wipes originally $5.xx for $1.67 today. There are a lot of other clearance tags in the baby aisle, but most were already cleared. Just take a few minues and browse, you might find something good!

Miejer - more updates

Meijer hasn't been too exciting lately . Yes, there's been an occasional Super Saturday, or 2-Day event but nothing to get really excited about...However, on page 8 of the ad if you buy 10 participating Kellogg's items you get 2 free movie tickets (probably a coupon at checkout and you'll go online to get your tickets). Do you see right there in the middle, Kellogg's cereal in a cup 10 for 10 get the 11th free? I mean, how convenient are those little things PLUS you're getting movie tickets which would probably cost about $16. Right? I really don't remember the last time I was at the movies...I used to go all the time...before babies...blah. UPDATE: the cereals in a cup DO NOT work. This is some terrible advertising, but the items must be 5.5 oz or above. After I purchased my 10 cereals last night I went to customer service and told them I didn't get my movie thing - showed them the ad, etc., and THEY pointed out the 5.5 oz thing to me. I politely said I would like to return them and THEY commented on how misleading the ad was...anyway, they felt bad and scanned a full size Mini Wheats they had behind the counter 10 times, gave me the movie thing and I kept the cereal. However, If you have a place to store a lot of cereal, in the Louisville area the derby day sale has Kellogg's 5 for $10. If you purchased 10 boxes and printed 10 $1 off coupons it would be the SAME price as the cups and you would still get the movie tickets!!!

Also, for the last few weeks they've had GREAT sales on staples - milk $1.98, bread $.98, eggs $.98, whole chicken $.98/lb, bagged lettuce $.98

Other GREAT deals:
Sweet Corn (get your grill out!) $.19 each
Blackberries 10 for $10 (reg price $2.99)
Meijer pasta 2 for $1

There is also a Derby Days Sale beginning Wed including:
3 lb ground chuck for $3.99 ($1.33/lb!)
8 piece fried chicken or rotisserie chick for $4.99 (probably cheaper that the $.98/lb uncooked chicken above)

and a bunch more...go check it out!

Free Grilled Chicken Today!

Go get a free piece of grilled chicken at KFC today. (There was also a coupon for a free one in the paper yesterday)

Wags 4/26 - 5/2 with updates

Wags is going to have another great week starting Sunday the 26th! The EasySaver Program will officially come to an end, but they are making up for it with great Register Rewards!

**Ecotrin $2, with $2 RR. Use $1 coupon from the paper or print a $2.25 coupon. The IP will more than likely beep because it's more than the value of the product. Hopefully they will adjust it down to $2, for $2 overage!
**got2be Hair products are 2 for $10 with $5 RR. Print 2 $2 off coupons and get then for $.50 each. (Clearance ones work too!)
**Nivea Body Wash for Women is $4.99, with $4.99 RR. Print as many $1 off coupons as you want for $1 overage every time.
**Bayer Quick Release $2.49, with $2.49 RR = free (I don't think they have this in stock yet, it will be free through the end of May though, so keep checking the aisles!)
**Rembrandt Toothpaste or mouthwash $5.99, with $5.99 RR = free
**Bayer Breeze 2 or Contour Meter...who really needs this right? Does someone in your family? A friend? Regardless, it is $14.99 with a $5 RR. Use the $30 off coupon from the paper which will be adjusted to $14.99, and walk out with $5 overage!!! Just do it...this deal also goes on through the end of May, so if you don't get the courage this week, you have time.
**Samy Esensia Shampoo is $7.99 at Wags. I saw a bunch of them last night (big brown bottle) with 'try me free' tags on them. Print a $1 coupon and make $1 overage (less the cost of a stamp)

Because the Meter deal is going on all of May and holy crap it's $5 profit every time, I purchased 10 more coupons off The Coupon Clippers (search: bayer). There are still a ton left if you want to join in!

If you find the peelies, you're going to make money/get it for free, otherwise you're just going to get a great deal.

**Glade Soy Candles are $5.99, print a $4 off and use the $2 EasySaver Coupon to get it for free.
**Snapple is either on sale or is $1.19 per bottle... Hopefully there are still some $.55 hangtags on the bottles at your store. Combine that with the $1 off 2 EasySaver Coupon and get them for $.14 each!

CVS through 4/25

Bayer $2, with $2 ECB (look for $1 coupons around product)
Edge Shave Gel $2.89, with $2.89 ECB

There are lots of other great deals this week if you are in need of anything. I desperately wanted some Lucky Charms after seeing a coworker munching on them last week. Select General Mills cereals are 2 for $6 with a $2 ECB. There are a TON of GM coupons out there.

KMart Super Doubles update

I have a real issue where I don't need ANYTHING so if I'm going to get it, well, I want it for free. I'm sure KMart Super Doubles is a great deal for a lot of people that have KMarts with clearly markes sales and shelves that are not already empty, but I don't think I have the patience or mental capacity to take it all in. I also think other regions have KMart 'supercenters' which have much more selection. Like the person below who got everything for $1.80. It's just unbelievable!
I wish I was so lucky. After 45 minutes of walking around comparing coupons, sweating and cursing that the sale signs weren't up, I left with a box of Rice Krispies, Secret deodorant and a pack of Dentyne for $1.18. I could've thrown a lot more things in the cart but I really didn't need it or...or I just couldn't find it. Then I went to CVS to make myself feel better. Maybe I'll try again later this week, who knows...

All You Magazine Subscription

I found out that somebody let her All You subscription run out, so I thought I'd find some good deals just in case there was anyone else that doesn't have this great mag coming to their mailbox.

Easy way out-click here and get one year-12 issues-for $15.

Apparently 'Southern Living at Home' sellers have some special link with the All You Magazine. If you jump through some hoops you can get 2 years for $19.95. Click here for the step-by-step.

KMart Super Doubles April 19-25

For some reason it weirds me out to get excited about KMart. But next week they are doing Super Doubles again, coupons $2 and up are doubled. Which is pretty unbelievable. Check out this post from last November for some helpful information and planning tips.

Here are the details:
**no overage - items may be free, but if you have a $2 coupon and the item is $3.75, you're not getting an additional.25 off.
**you may purchase up to 4 of the same items with double coupons
**Limit of 25 coupons per customer per day...just use your 25 and go to the next store...or go back later
**Here is a $5 off $50 purchase - give the cashier this coupon first THEN your manufacturer coupons
**Here is the ad to see it with your own eyes!

Let me know if you have any questions. I went after church last time they had super doubles and was pretty disappointed in the selection that was left. If I get really ambitious I may get up REALLY early on Sunday and get to K-Mart...otherwise I may wait until the end of the week when they restock and the excitement has worn off. Tell me how it goes for you!

Free Deterengent @ CVS

Coupons.com has different deals for different parts of the country - but you are not restricted to one area...punch in zip code 44514 and you will find a buy one get one free Purex coupon...and Purex is BOGO at CVS this week. Cashiers may look at you funny if you use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO item, but there is no reason they should take it. If they give you a hard time ask for a manager and/or go to the next CVS down the street.

Free Reynolds Wrap (rebate)

On April 22nd (Earth Day) Reynolds Wrap will have a downloadable rebate available on their website beginning at 4:22am. It seems pretty random to me...but it's free. You may visit their rebate site to get an e-mail reminder to download the form on the 22nd...I'll definitely need the reminder.

CVS through 4/18

I blew all my ECBs on this weekend on an emergency diaper purchase, so I will be starting from scratch this week. I normally would not have spent ALL my ECBs at one time, but all I had was one $10 ECB from the Huggies deal...and we weren't going to make it home. Anyway, I picked up two packs of CVS diapers which are $9.49 BOGO this week and a pack of gum to get up to my $10 ECB mark. I'll have to make some strategic purchases to minimize my out of pocket, but it seems like there are a few good deals this week!

**SoftSoap scrub $4.99, with $4.99 ECB, use $1 newspaper coupon for $1 profit
**Colgate Enamel, Sensitive Whitening or 360 toothbrush $3.99, with $3.99 ECB, use $.75 toothbrush or toothpaste newspaper coupon or $1 off Colgate Sensitive (sign up) for up to $1 profit.
**Adidas 'Intensive' Deodorant on clearance for $2.50, with $2 ECB (monthly deal), use $1 newspaper coupon for $.50 profit.
**Purex $6.99 BOGO, print BOGO coupon on Coupons.com with zip code 44514 = 2 free!

I'll keep looking for more deals...I feel lost with no ECBs!
