CVS through 5/16

CVS and Wags have similar frees this week. Including:

**Bayer Quick Release Crystals $2 with $2 ECB (look for $1 coupons around product, or use ones from Wags) = free of $1 overage
**Bayer Contour Meter $14.99 with $5 ECB, use $30 off newspaper coupon (will be adjusted to $14.99) for $5 overage

Good Deals:
Buy $10 of select Unilever products get $3 ECB. There were coupons for all the items in the 4/5 Red Plum. Anyone else out of Mayo?

Wags through 5/16

I haven't been grocery shopping in weeks! Just 9 weeks pregnant and I already just want to be lazy and stare at the wall instead of shopping for bread...and milk...and cheese. I've been making it to CVS and Wags, though...I wish I could've made about 10 more trips last week, but I think I got all of the deals at least once. There are some more good deals this week!

**Colgate MaxWhite/Fresh toothbrush/paste $2.99 get $2 RR, use $1 toothpaste or $1 toothbrush = free
**Omega 3-Fish Oil $8 get $8 RR = free (Jeremy's Chiropractor makes him take fish oil daily!)
**Roots of Nature Hair Care $6 with $6 RR, print $1 coupon for $1 overage
**Bayer Quick Release Crystals $2.49 with $2.50 RR, use $1 coupon found around product (look on endcaps) for $1 overage
**Breeze 2 diabetes monitor $14.99 with $5 RR (probably not marked, but it works), use $30 off Breeze/Contour (adjusted to $14.99 by cashier) for $5 overage.
**Wags diapers $8.99, BOGO! The Pharmacy has a $2 coupon in a coupon pamphlet if you are brave enough to ask that would give you 2 for $6.99!

Are you kidding me Oprah?

Well, it looks like if you didn't get your free chicken in the last 3 days, you aren't going to get it with the coupon. Due to overwhelming response (duh) they are no longer redeeming the coupon. Did they really think people weren't going to get excited about free chicken?! Don't they know they could have set the print limit at 1 or 2...instead of 4!

From what I understand if you take your coupon in to KFC they'll give you a form to mail in for a raincheck of the free meal PLUS a Pepsi. I guess they are thinking the random couponer will not do the work for the meal, but I will!!! Read the Oprah article here...or here is a video apology from the (australian?) KFC president.

There are going to be a lot of angry people out there! Since this news probably isn't going to spread as fast as the 'free' news, I would think you could try your coupon in the next day or two and cross your fingers that they'll take it! Good luck!

I'm on my last pack of diapers...

You know if there's a really good deal on diapers, I'll let you know...but man it seems that last month I just got 2 packs with the CVS sale...which would explain why I am now out!...I gave my last stockpiled package to Jacob's school this morning...

If there's not a super scenario out there, BabyCheapskate lists the best sales for diapers (and formula) each week, so check it out if you end up running out...

FYI there is a BOGO sale on diapers at Wags next week...if only I could make it that long! You could use all your RRs from this week's deals!

Free KFC 2-piece MEAL!

Print your coupon here up to FOUR TIMES! 2 pieces of grilled chicken, 2 sides and a biscuit for free! Thanks Oprah?

CVS & Wags through 5/9

Hello! Sorry for posting late, we've had a lot going on!

There are a lot of good deals at CVS and Walgreens this week. Not just for free items, but good sales on regular stuff, like toilet paper, canned goods & soft drinks. When I get overage or just a great deal on Register Rewards or ECBs it makes me want to spend more money in those stores... because often I don't feel like I'm really spending money... just little pieces of paper that spit out at the register.

Both stores have changed the way they promote their 'monthly deals.' CVS no longer has the 'extra value book,' they now have a 'clipfree coupon book'...which really just means items are on sale all month, and there aren't extra monthly items with ECBs (BLAH!). And Wags no longer has the EasySaver Catalog - so no more rebates or EasySaver coupons :( . They have, however, extended a lot of Register Reward items to last all month. So, here we go...

CVS
**Adidas Deodorant $3.99 with $3 ECB, use $1 newspaper Q = free
**Colgate MaxWhite MaxFresh toothpaste AND toothbrushes $2.99 with $2 ECB, use $1 off from All You, $1 or $75 off newspaper Q, I also thought I printed some IPs a few weeks ago for the Wags sale, but it doesn't look like they're available anymore - if you have any left, use them this week = free or $.25
**Zantrex-3 (Energy shot) $4.99 with $4.99 ECB = free
**Kellogg's Cereal 3 for $10 with $5 ECB, use 3 $1 off coupons and get them for $.67 each! (not free but REALLY close for cereal)

Wags
**Colgate Sensitive $4.49 with $4.50 RR, use $1 off, or $.75 off from newspaper for up to $1 overage.
**Pert Plus 2 for $5 with $2 RR, use 2 $1.50 coupons from Sunday's paper = 2 for free. Also look for Men's Pert with 'Try Me Free' stickers. Here is an additional $1 off, if needed
**Right Guard $2.99 with $2 RR, use $1 newspaper Q or print $1 off Fast Break = free
**Bayer Quick Release 4ct $2.49 with $2.50 RR = free (look for $1 Qs around display) (month-long deal)
**Breeze 2 or Contour Glucose Meters $14.99 with $5 RR, use $30 off Q(adjusted to $14.99) from paper, pay tax only and have about $5 overage (month-long deal)
**Wednesday print a free 8x10 photo for free with coupon code 'mother.' They also have buy 25 prints, get 25 free with coupon code 'bright25" through May 9th. Have fun!

**One of those 'not free, but good deals' I mentioned above...but I guess might be free given coupons and a really good rebate....is the Conagra Deal. Buy$10 in products get $3 RR. I don't think there are any newspaper Qs for Conagra products, but there may have been some in the All You Magazines. THEN, if you buy $25 in Conagra products (do the Walgreens thing 3 times) you may submit for a coupon book with $34 in additional coupon savings. You may find better deals on some of the products at Kroger though, who knows, mix and match your receipts!

Meijer updates...

If you still plan on going to Meijer this week, check the updates in this post. The 10 small cereals do not work for the movie tickets, but 10 regular size cereals with the Derby Days Sale (5 for $10)(probably Louisville only) with 10 $1 off coupons will end up being the same price as the small cereals and you'll get the movie tickets. Do you have a place to store 10 boxes of cereal? It might be worth it!
