Well, it seems that I spoke too soon when commenting that the Pepsi price this week at Walgreens was the best price I've seen at $2 a piece. Well, it was true when I said it, but not now that I've seen NEXT week's ad!
Next week the Pepsi deal is spend $15 get $5 OR spend $20 get $10 register rewards...which when buying 7-12 packs would make them $1.57 a piece! However, if you don't want 7 12-packs laying around the house, consider the following items which will also work when getting you to $20:
Pepsi 2 liter 3/$4
Gatorade 3/$3
Doritos 2/$5
Tostitos 2/$5
Queso Dip 2/$5 mmmm....dip
Additionally there is a mail in rebate for Pepsi/Frito Lay where if you buy a combination of of the above items and send in the rebate you'll get $15 in coupons by mail (which are sure to be GREAT). See the details here
Here is an example of what is needed for the register rewards and rebate:
4 - 12 packs Pepsi $12
1 queso $2.50
2 tostitos $5
Gatorade $1 (added to get to $20 for RR)
Out of Pocket: $20.50
Register Rewards received: $10
Mail in Rebate for $15 in Coupons!
You can't lose...well, unless you love Dr.Pepper and it's not included in this deal...boo
UPDATES FOR CVS: I got a e-mail from CVS (Sign up here to get weekly e-mails) that mentioned the same Pepsi deal as Wags! The only difference is you DO NOT have to purchase everything in one transaction. Wags requires perfection in one transaction in order to get Register Rewards. With CVS you can buy a few here and a few there as long as you complete the deal within the week. Also, I'm sure there are additional items on sale at CVS that are allowed for the rebate. Any questions??? Just let me know!!!
